Hoghton Judo Club has been running in its present form since 2001 and is open to anyone wanting to learn or improve their Judo.
The Club trains in Hoghton Village Hall, Hoghton. Juniors normally start at around the age of six to the age of eighteen and seniors from eighteen upwards.
At present we have two British Judo Association (BJA) accredited coaches, and we train on a Wednesday night.
What does it cost to do Judo? Junior Judo suits cost approx £15.00 to £20.00 and Seniors from approx £20.00 to £30.00, and can be obtained from any good sports shop or alternatively you can buy one from the Club which helps to support the Club funds.
Mat fees at present are £2.50 for juniors and £3.00 for seniors.
You will require a BJA licence in order to progress through the grades in Judo. This licence also carries a third party liability insurance. This licence has to be renewed annually. |
